Buying travel protection is recommended for cruise vacations because it safeguards your trip investment against cancellations, missed connections, and lost luggage—and, most importantly, covers emergency medical costs and evacuation. Medical expenses outside the U.S. are not generally covered by standard health insurance. Ultimately, travel protection provides peace of mind, letting you relax and enjoy your cruise knowing you’re prepared for the unexpected.
